At the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences, the landscape is your laboratory. Our undergraduate and graduate programs are designed to provide real-world experiences that spark curiosity and enable you to solve problems.

With programs that span the natural sciences and create strong linkages with the social sciences, we are home to the only comprehensive oceanographic and atmospheric research programs in Oregon, as well as offering programs in geology, geography, geospatial studies, and marine resource management. Our work extends throughout the world.

In fact, Oregon State is ranked third nationally in best places to study natural resources. Whether you want to collect ice cores from Antarctica, use advanced computer models, help local fishing communities implement sustainable practices, learn about water conflict management or collect data aboard a research vessel, we have a program for you. Come explore.
